The ultimate goal is to give you the postpartum experience you always dreamed of.
Every motherhood journey is unique and beautiful in its own way. The decisions a mother makes, the instincts she follows, and the way she learns as she goes are what make her story so powerful.
There’s no one “right” way, just your way. Your baby’s childhood is also your motherhood, shaped by every choice, every moment, and every bit of growth along the way.
Central NY needs more access to resources for women during their postpartum period. There are prenatal classes and birth courses, but what about the TRANSITION of bringing baby home? The sleepless nights, basic newborn care, mother healing education, or the new identity of being a PARENT? When the reality sets in….where is your village of support?

This is where the beautiful moments happen....
You get nap trapped, while I clean up your kitchen
I explain to your partner the newborn cues baby is showing
You and your partner take a nap while I swaddle & soothe baby
I listen to your worries, fears, wins, and moments of growth
and so much more....

This is a big one. It’s often after I leave that you remember your questions, or at 10 pm when baby won’t fall asleep and you need some reassurance that you're doing everything right.
I know these moments can be very isolating. That’s why I want to be available to you, just a text away.
Not google, but a registered nurse, doula, and a mother who has been there before.

The goal is simple:
for you to feel more confident, supported, and grounded as a new mom during this transition.
Hi! I’m Emma RN, BSN, and a postpartum doula. I support new moms and families during the early days after bringing baby home.
What makes my support different is my clinical background and lived experience. As a registered nurse who worked in an OB/GYN clinic and mama of 2 boys, I provide guidance, reassurance, and hands-on support so you can feel confident caring for your baby while also caring for yourself.
But more than anything, my goal is to empower you to trust your instincts and your decisions.
Little more about me…
My path into postpartum work is deeply personal. Like many mothers, I experienced how intense and unexpected the fourth trimester can be. I struggled with postpartum anxiety, even as a nurse, I still second-guessed myself and let the intrusive thoughts get the best of me.
And what I thought my feeding journey would look like didn’t go as planned. My intention was to exclusively breastfeed, but I ultimately transitioned to a combination of formula feeding and pumping.
However, I wouldn’t change a thing. Through all the trial and error, I learned so much about myself and uncovered strengths I didn’t know I had.
Now, almost 2 years postpartum, I want to use everything I’ve learned, both professionally as a nurse and personally as a mother, to support other women through this same transition. I want mothers to feel seen, supported, and confident in their choices.

I am also affiliated with Doulas of CNY, allowing me to stay connected with local birth and postpartum professionals while supporting families throughout the region.
What does this mean for you? In the rare unexpected circumstance that arises, I have strong relationships with backup doulas, so families have continuity of support.
